Experimental Data

The last section to look at on the setup page is the Experimental Data Block. This block contains a check box which toggles whether the analysis will run the baseline analysis pass or a Velocity and Action Time Matching run. and the actual experimental Muzzle Velocity and Action Time which are only needed for the matching run. The two types of runs are described earlier in the tutorial in the section Modes of Operation.

For this example we are starting out with a baseline run so that we can look at the results and make sure that our basic inputs are reasonable and see how far off the results are. We will do the following:

Leave the Match Exp Data? box Unchecked
Enter our experimental Muzzle Velocity and Action time. This data is only used in the analysis for the matching type of run. We are entering the data now even though we are doing a baseline run so that we can easiily see our analysis result side by side with our test results after this baseline run.
